What to expect after reporting a cyber incidentDo you suspect a cyber incident? If so, it's crucial to take immediate action, even is it's just a suspicion. Cyber incidents can rapidly escalate and are often underestimated. Preventing and minimising damage is the top priority.
What is a cyber incident?
A cyber incident can be an attack on your network, but it can also be triggered if one of your employees, for example, mistakenly sends a file with sensitive data to the wrong recipient who could exploit it.
What if Eye Security identifies a cyber incident?
Eye Security continuously monitors your network and may detect situations that could lead to a cyber incident. In most cases, they can intervene immediately to prevent a full blown incident from happening. If Eye Security believes that a situation has the potential to become a cyber incident, they will proactively inform you. They will also inform you whenever more than four hours will be spent on resolving a threat. It's up to you to decide whether or not to report a cyber incident to the insurer. In most cases, Eye Security will be the first to identify an incident, but this is not always the case.
